At the beginning of this month my mom, sister-in-law and I started taking a sewing class together. It really has been a great way for us to spend some time together and re-learn some of the basics of sewing.
Also, I really love the accountability. We all need to come to class with a project in mind along with all the materials to work on it during class, otherwise we just sit there with nothing to do.
I have already started and completed a few of these things that are on my wish list and I'm pretty excited to complete all of them!
- Pillow case for Alex
- Curtains for the boys room
- Throw pillows for our couch
- Pajamas for the boys
- Curtains for the office
- Diapers & wipes travel pouch
- Summer skirts for myself
- An heirloom blanket for each of the boys
- Kitchen apron
- A dress for my niece
- Designer burp cloths
- Make-up bag
- Anything thing else that may come to mind later!

That's a lot to do in the course of a single class, but if you apply yourself I'll bet you can do it all.
Stitch away!
I wish I could sew.....just think of how crafty I could be...xooxox
I hardly ever sew anymore, and this makes me miss it very much! One of my favorite things to make when I was little and first learned to sew was Barbie clothes and doll clothes. So much fun!
I'd love to learn to sew, but first I have to find a space for yet more craft stuff. ;)
Happy TT!
I really need a sewing class. What I really wish is that I had taken the time to let my grandmother teach me before she passed on.
